Myopic Microcosm (RPG devlog) Chapter Twenty One: I Can FINALLY Code!

Hello Everyone,

I can finally code my game. Why couldn't I before? Because I had to do all of the art and music, but also because I had to wait to get access to my computer that can export the game. I now have the fun job of coding that I've so eagerly awaited. For any art or music people who hate coding and can't understand why I love it so much...think about it like doing music and art for someone who is analytical about literally everything. It's structured, organized, and most importantly, it's not nearly as subjective. So with that weird explanation of why I like coding, here's what I have to do and when I will do it, as well as a review of everything I've done thus far

 - Done So Far

  • Coding Player movement
  • Coding Enemy Movement
  • Coding attacks for both
  • Rat, Bat, Slimes done.
  • Dialogue System

 - Tasks By Day

  • August 28

Rocks, trees, gravestones, signposts, NPC's, and everything on those lines must be done. This includes their dialogue

Houses and dungeons completely coded and ready.

  • August 29

All UI done. Main Menu, Credits, Pause Menu, Hearts, Everything. Done...

Bosses Made

  • August 30-31

Everything I just missed and any bug hunting before I send out the beta. I want a game without game breaking bugs ready for beta by August 31 at 3:00p.m.

  • September 1

Recover and do some easy major bug fixes found in the beta.

  • September 2-9

Bug fixes and additional content if possible.

Is this plan doable, maybe, maybe not. I think it is for the scope of the project and considering I've completed some code already, I would say this is possible. However, I may not have the same tone in 3 days.
